Moto3 Full Qualifying Results | Championship leader misses out on front row

It was a tactical session in Moto3, as both in Q1 and Q2, many riders tried to avoid being first in line in order to benefit from the slipstream.

In Q2, the riders constantly improved as they completed lap after lap around the Misano circuit.

Despite being unable to finish his final flying lap, Intact GP's Almansa set the fastest time. The Spaniard was one of the riders to prove that the slipstream was not as important. Brian Uriarte finished in second place, while Joel Kelso completed the front row.

Championship leader Maximo Quiles set the fifth-fastest time this Saturday. His closest rival in the championship, Alvaro Carpe, will start behind the Aspar rider. After making it through Q1, the KTM Ajo rider will start from ninth place.
