Hello and welcome to our daily live blog as we cover all the latest news from the world of Formula 1.

Did Verstappen have a meeting with Wolff?

Max Verstappen flew to Sardinia in Italy on Friday, which was the same place that saw Mercedes boss Toto Wolff's yacht.
It remains unclear whether Wolff was there too, but the Austrian is keen to bring Verstappen to Mercedes.
Both Verstappen and Wolff live in Monaco, so flying to Sardinia for a meeting may seem unnecessary as the principality is relatively small.
Christian Horner has been dismissed by Red Bull from his role as team principal, and he has already been replaced by Laurent Mekies.
The Frenchman has stepped up from Racing Bulls, while Alan Permane will lead the sister outfit.

Ferrari are now fighting for second in the standings

Ferrari have lacked the raw speed so far this season to challenge McLaren as they have set the benchmark.
The Italian team are yet to score a race victory in a Grand Prix, although Lewis Hamilton did win the Sprint in China.
Ferrari had to wait until the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix for their first podium of the year with Charles Leclerc.
Hamilton hasn't had such luck and is still waiting to deliver his first podium in the infamous red suit.
Ferrari are unlikely to challenge McLaren in the Constructors' Championship as the Italian team are 238 points behind.
The team boss, Frederic Vasseur, is now focusing on consolidating second place and said: “And even if you win all the races until the end, I'm not even sure that you will be champion in that for sure. But we are still in the fight with Mercedes and Red Bull. We are still in the fight to win some races, and it's important for the team.”
