Verstappen puts Red Bull under pressure?
For the first time, the
Dutchman did admit to considering his future at
Red Bull Racing. The four-time world champion also reacted to that Christian Horner's dismissal from the Austrian squad, and how that influences his choice. He told
GPblog among others:
"I don't think it will matter at all for my decision in the future."A
crowded room awaited the Dutchman as well during his press moment. There, he also talked about the
rumours about him meeting Toto Wolff in Italy.

Russell remains calm amid contract situation
George Russell is yet to sign a a new contract with Mercedes. Not only that, but he is in a unique situation, as the
British driver himself is managed by the team, similarly to Kimi Antonelli.
However,
Russell is not too stressed about the situation, he explained to
GPblog among others. He said he is focusing on his on-track performance, something that could guarantee him a future in the competition.
On-track action on Friday
The Grand Prix weekend gets underway with the first and only free practice session at the
Spa-Francorchamps circuit. As it is a Sprint weekend, this is the teams' only option to test their updates. FP1 will begin 12:30 local time (11:30 BST), and will last an hour.
Later on, the day continues with Sprint Qualifying, that sets up the grid for tomorrow's Sprint. The first 'meaningful' session of the current weekend will get underway at 16:30 local time (15:30 BST).
