Lewis Hamilton parting ways with his long-time manager, Marc Hynes, ahead of the 2026 season have surfaced.
This report emanates from the Daily Mail, which claims the seven-time world champion and Hynes have gone their separate ways amicably for a second time, with the latter now set to take on a new role at Cadillac.
Hynes had been by the seven-time champion since the early stages of his career, eventually officially succeeding Simon Fuller in 2016 and holding the role until 2021, when Hamilton moved to a more structured, US-based management setup, appointing Penni Thow to oversee his interests through her firm, Copper.
That partnership lasted until December 2023, when Hamilton ended his relationship with Copper and brought Hynes back into his inner circle, having served as chief executive of Project 44 from 2015 to 2021 in the meantime.
George Russell and
Kimi Antonelli have offered their take on the issue around the harvesting of power, one of the most talked-about elements of
Formula 1’s 2026 cars.
The Mercedes duo, who spoke to GPblog among other selected media outlets, struck a positive tone about the overall feeling of harvesting power and downshifting on the straight.

Russell explained that the sensation of harvesting energy under full throttle is far less dramatic in reality than many had feared, comparing it to shifting the gears while driving a road car uphill.
Kimi Antonelli, for his part, also toed the line of his teammate, while noting that differences in circuit layout and characteristics could prove pivotal in the way harvesting is managed.
