It's race day at the Singapore Grand Prix. Stay with us throughout the session as GPblog brings you the latest updates and exclusive insights straight from the paddock.
Max Verstappen will be looking to make it two wins on the bounce after clinching victory last time out at the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia. The four-time world champion will line up on pole position today, ahead of the two Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton.

Verstappen on pole, Russell starts from the back

Max Verstappen starts on pole position after narrowly beating Charles Leclerc's Ferrari by just 0.054 seconds to claim the top spot. Lewis Hamilton lines up third and hopes the two Ferraris can work together to get the better of Verstappen at the Singapore Grand Prix.

Behind the top three, championship leader Kimi Antonelli completes the second row of the grid. The Italian, who has a commanding 89-point lead at the top of the standings, has a huge advantage over his teammate George Russell who will line up from the back of the grid.
Russell, who crashed out from the lead of the sprint race on Saturday, has accumulated a 60-place grid penalty for today's race. Despite this, he will line up in 19th place, as the two Aston Martins and the Red Bull of Isack Hadjar will start in the pit lane.
The McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will line up on Row 3 and their bosses will be hoping for a much more sensible race from their two drivers. The two collided on the final lap of Saturday's sprint race, costing them fourth and fifth positions, with Norris scoring one point and Piastri failing to make the finish.

Why Verstappen could hold advantage and a disadvantage over Ferrari

The battle at the Singapore Grand Prix could be influenced by the different tyre options available to each driver. While Verstappen has more flexibility on the soft compound, Leclerc and Hamilton are better equipped when it comes to fresh mediums.
McLaren and Mercedes appear to be in a strong position when it comes to tyre availability ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, with Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri and George Russell each having two fresh sets of mediums, one new set of hards and one unused set of softs. This gives them greater strategic flexibility than pole-sitter Verstappen, who has just one fresh set of mediums remaining, alongside one used set and three used sets of softs.
Ferrari, meanwhile, has taken a different approach, with Leclerc and Hamilton each retaining two fresh sets of mediums and one new set of hards, but no unused soft tyres. That puts the Ferrari pair on equal footing with Norris and Piastri in terms of fresh medium and hard compounds, although McLaren has the additional option of a new set of softs.
