On May 2, 2025, Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet announced that they have become parents of a daughter, Lily Verstappen. Little Lily was likely born a few days earlier, after it was announced on the Thursday of the Miami Grand Prix,
with Verstappen not present in the paddock then to see his daughter being born.
But now, a maternity gift from the prestigious Automobile Club de Monaco seems to reveal her actual birthdate.
Card reveals possible birthdate of Lily
In the past few weeks, Kelly Piquet has been showered with expensive maternity gifts, from Louis Vuitton to Saint Laurent. The Automobile Club de Monaco also shared a special gift for the proud parents of Lily on Thursday, a cute pink car, shared by the organisation of the Monaco Grand Prix in a reel on Instagram.
If you look closely at the posted video, you can see a special card with the date April 25, 2025. Could this refer to the birthdate of Max Verstappen's daughter? If so, this would mean that Max and Kelly consciously chose not to release the news for a week to enjoy parenthood in peace.
The couple announced in December 2024 that they were expecting. During a baby shower, it already seemed clear that they were expecting a girl, although they never explicitly confirmed it. For Kelly, this is her second child: she already has a daughter from a previous relationship with Formula E driver Daniil Kvyat. For Max, Lily is his first child.
