Despite qualifying P15 in Portimao, Max Verstappen's team, Verstappen Racing, will start the GT World Challenge Europe finale from P13 - here is the final starting grid.
After set up and drivability issues during Saturday's action, Verstappen, despite setting the fastest time out of his teammates in Q3, saw his team bumped up a place after Haupt Racing Team (#65 Ford Mustang GT3) had their times deleted due to a technical regulation infringement.
Upon the final confirmation of the starting grid, Verstappen Racing have been bumped up another place in Portugal, due to a five-place grid drop for the #51 AF Corse Ferrari. Specifically, driver Lorenzo Ferrari carries the penalty from an incident last time he participated in Monza.
Despite causing collision while driving the #99 Audi in Monza, Ferrari had to take the penalty at the next race in which he participated - which sees Verstappen's team handed another place.
Elsewhere on the grid, seven-time MOTOGP champion Valentino Rossi's Team WRT team start further back in P59. Former Haas driver Nikita Mazepin is also at the event, his Team Motopark start in P38.

Verstappen will not start the GT race in Portimão
Verstappen will not take the start of the GT World Challenge Europe race in Portimão. His team-mate Ben Barnicoat will start in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 entered by Verstappen Racing.
Verstappen is sharing the Mercedes with Barnicoat and Chris Lulham for the three-hour race at the Portuguese circuit. Each driver must spend an hour behind the wheel during the race. Barnicoat is listed as the starting driver of the No. 3 Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing car on the official list published by race organiser SRO Motorsports.
This means Verstappen will have to follow the opening phase from the pit wall or garage. He will take over driving duties after at least an hour. It is not known whether he will drive the second or third stint.
