Max Verstappen is set to take on a different challenge this weekend in the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie. Here is how you can follow the Dutchman at the Nordschleife this weekend. The Dutchman will take on his third NLS race this weekend and his second driving a GT3 car. Verstappen will drive a Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo car in preparation for the 24 Hours of Nurburgring race.
This will be the second race of the 2026 NLS season, and the first in which Verstappen’s team participates, after
they skipped last weekend's event due to poor weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the four-time world champion was heavily critical of the new F1 regulations,
calling them 'fundamentally flawed'.
When will NLS2 take place?
The event will take place on 21 March (this upcoming Saturday), with qualifying and the race held on the same day.
Qualifying will begin at 08:30 local time (07:30 GMT) that morning.
The race, as usual, will last four hours. It will begin at 12:00 local time (11:00 GMT), and the chequered flag will be waved at 16:00 local time (15:00 GMT).
