George Russell and Lando Norris are enemies on track, but on the outside, the two Brits get along very well. Russell saw his compatriot lose out on victory in the final five laps of the Grand Prix. The Williams driver feels a little sorry for himself.
"It is every driver’s worst nightmare, leading a race and the rain starts coming down," Russell told Sky Sports.
Norris decided to stay on the tarmac while Hamilton dived in for a pit stop and new intermediates. What happened next, everyone knows by now. “I feel really bad for him. I think I have been there, I know how it feels" said the current world championship number fifteen, who is sure Norris' first win in F1 is coming. "He will have more victories to come.”
