Red Bull: 'RB18 not particularly vulnerable'

If the car had been a further development of last year's car, all the teething problems that are now being experienced would have already come to light during the pre-season tests, according to Horner.

Due to these teething problems, Max Verstappen crashed out twice this season anyway and once Perez was the unlucky one. Moreover, a faulty sensor prevented the Mexican from scoring a podium last Sunday. As a result, Red Bull missed out on valuable World Cup points in the constructors' battle with Ferrari. Despite this, Horner states that the RB18 'is not particularly vulnerable'.

Still, the problems are frustrating for Red Bull, the 48-year-old Brit acknowledges. The Austrians are working closely with the Honda team to solve all the problems. Horner is confident that his team will have all the issues under control in the near future.
