'Rookie of the Year!' That is the title given to Oscar Piastri at this year's FIA Prize Giving Gala. Rightly so, according to most people. The Australian managed to tap nearly 100 points and did it in style. Formula 1 on X nicely summed up the McLaren driver's season in 90 seconds.
Second-time rookie of the year
It is already the second time in his career that he has been named Rookie of the Year. Last time, he won it in the Formula 2 classification. ''Hopefully, it's the last rookie season of my career,'' Piastri said at the gala.
