This weekend, Formula E descends on Valencia. Qualifying for Saturday has just finished. Mercedes was again dominant in qualifying.
Nyck de Vries drove a good qualifying and can start from P3. However, a grid penalty from last week caused him to drop five places. De Vries received this penalty because he collided with Sam Bird during the race in Rome.

Four times pole position

His teammate Stoffel Vandoorne took pole position. A good performance for the Belgian who also won one of the two races in Rome. Mercedes took pole position at least once in Berlin, Diriyah, Rome and now Valencia.
Sam Bird is at the top of the standings but did not perform very well. He set the 21st time. Robin Frijns also did not perform well in qualifying. Therefore, he will start from sixteenth position later this afternoon.
