Marko doesn't blame Verstappen: "He didn't drive on the limit".

Helmut Marko is critical of Pirelli after Max Verstappen's blowout in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The Red Bull Racing advisor doesn't understand why the left rear tyre of the RB16B suddenly gave up on the Baku City Circuit. It's causing frustration for the 78-year-old Austrian.
"We controlled the race with flying colours, Max drove at the front and recorded fastest lap after fastest lap. And that while not even being on the limit. He wasn't driving at full power and the management of the tyres was optimal," Marko is quoted by Austria's ORF. "There were no signs of vibration or problems with the temperature."

Horner on restart

After the red flag came a standing restart for the remaining two laps. Christian Horner analysed it at Sky Sports: "Sergio didn't have a good start. Lewis on the other hand did, but you can see the brakes are smoking, so the magic didn't work there. From there it was head down for Sergio and we were suffering from a hydraulic problem hoping it wouldn't get worse." Fortunately, that didn't happen, although Perez did have to stop his car immediately after the finish.
After victories in Monaco and Azerbaijan, Red Bull can look back with satisfaction at the past two Grands Prix. "Now we are going back to the classic circuits, which will be interesting to see. The game has started!", says the top executive.
