Red Bull team principal Christian Horner is delighted with Sergio Perez's victory in Singapore dubbing is the "best drive of his career". The Mexcian was able to take his second victory of the year and hold off Charle Leclerc.
"He nailed it and converted the start. He was always in control and super cool. Super proud of him today. That's world-class right there. Under massive pressure, he delivered," said Horner to Sky Sports.
These were the words that Horner used to describe Perez's fantastic victory today. After a tense affair with Leclerc towards the end, Perez managed to bring the car home to grab some vital constructors' points as Red Bull aim to take both championships.
But whilst there's jubilation over their victory, there's still some doubt as to whether the win will stand. But Horner's still confident it will stand.
"I think we can pull up over the last 10 years a whole bunch of [previous examples] for this stuff. They asked us to close up and we closed up immediately. The safety car was going slow to bunch the field."

Sympathy for Verstappen

"It's been a tough weekend for Max. Starting out of position, pushing hard. He was very patient throughout the race. Those last couple of laps, the action was going on between Lewis, Seb and Max. Phenomenal race."
