For both Saturday and Sunday there is a chance of rain in Turkey. The chance of rain during the Grand Prix is, however, decreasing. Honda has done everything possible in the preparations to learn from last year.
In the 2020 edition of the Turkish GP, Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon struggled to get away from the wet start. Honda wanted to avoid that scenario at all costs this season.

Start must be better

"This year we had to learn from that and put a lot of work into the start of the race. We were told the weather would be unsettled this weekend, but gradually the chance of rain decreases. We will be well prepared for it, including the learning effect from last year," Toyoharu Tanabe said in conversation with Japan's AS-Web.
The chance of rain has decreased to less than 20%, but that doesn't make the start less important. When the lights go out, Verstappen is likely to be troubled by Lewis Hamilton. The Mercedes driver will start from outside the top-ten after an engine change.
