Honda already looks ahead: "The load on the turbo is high"

In 2021 the Red Bull Racing-Honda combination has already won nine Formula 1 races. With five Grands Prix to go Honda is more focused than ever on actually winning the world title. The next destination is Mexico.
The race will be held at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. This circuit lies no less than 2.286 metres above sea level and that means thin air. The role of the engine supplier is, therefore, greater than anywhere else and Honda is well aware of this.

Honda engine heavily loaded

"It's another long and difficult season for us. The next race in Mexico is high altitude. The cooling is difficult to get done and the load on the turbo is high. I feel like we have to prepare more carefully than ever before," Toyoharu Tanabe told the Japanese AS-Web.
Max Verstappen is almost always competitive in Mexico and even managed to win in 2017 and 2018. In 2016 and 2019, however, Lewis Hamilton ran away with the win, so it promises to be another exciting battle. Unfortunately, the 2020 edition of the Mexican GP could not take place due to coronavirus restrictions.
