One of the key battles between them was, of course, the fight in Canada, which ultimately led to a collision, with Lando Norris bearing the brunt of the consequences and being forced to retire.
Another memorable duel took place in Austria. This time, the two came close but avoided contact, with the Brit executing an impressive defense against his teammate, maintaining the lead and going on to win the race.
And who could forget the close double collision between George Russell and Max Verstappen in Barcelona, which ultimately led to a penalty for the Dutchman at the end of the race, dropping him to tenth place and costing him valuable points in the championship battle.
The season opener saw Norris and Verstappen battling for the win, with the McLaren driver managing to hold off the Dutchman in very slippery conditions, ultimately claiming victory in the inaugural race.
Another thrilling duel between the two took place in Miami, with Norris initially behind the four-time world champion but in a significantly more competitive car. After several unsuccessful attempts, Norris finally managed to overtake his rival, giving the fans yet another spectacular battle.
