Alonso complimentary about Lawrence Stroll: "He has this vision"

Alonso seemed headed for a contract extension at Alpine, but talks with Lawrence Stroll convinced him of a move to Aston Martin. Many fans did not initially understand the move by the two-time world champion, but those doubts have completely gone away after the first two Grands Prix of the season. Alonso finished on the podium twice.

This is not least due to the commitment of 63-year-old Stroll, believes Alonso at F1.com."Obviously very happy, very proud. I think he has this vision of having a winning team in the near future, whatever it takes, whatever it costs, whatever is needed."
