Oscar Piastri crashed during the Brazil GP sprint, incurring in damages ahead of qualifying, but the McLaren outfit are not worried the Australian driver will miss qualifying.
The Woking-based team confirmed to GPblog it has “no concerns at this stage,” regarding the Australian's participation in the session that will set the order for tomorrow's race.
The same fate befell Franco Colapinto and Nico Hülkenberg, though the latter managed to continue by returning to the pits with a damaged front wing.

The Australian, after his costly DNF in the Sprint and Lando Norris’s victory, now sits nine points adrift at the top of the championship, having lost eight valuable points that could prove decisive in the title fight.

Did Norris indirectly caused Piastri's crash?

On lap six, the championship leader ran wide at Turn 3, displacing a patch of water onto the curb that later played a key role in several incidents at that corner, including his teammate’s crash.
The topic came up during the post-Sprint press conference with the top three finishers. George Russell, who crossed the line in third behind his teammate, seized the moment to make a tongue-in-cheek remark at Norris, jokingly “blaming” him for inadvertently triggering the spate of Turn 3 incidents.
