Verstappen under investigation after crossing white line in Miami GP

Verstappen’s fight for the lead against the Ferrari driver ended in disaster after the Dutchman lost control and spun at Turn 1, although he managed to avoid contact and continue the race in eighth place.

The reigning world champion later capitalised on the safety car caused by his team-mate’s crash to dive into the pits and complete his stop. However, the incident was soon placed under investigation after Verstappen appeared to cross the white line on pit exit while rejoining the circuit.
