The final session ahead of the main event, the 24h Nurburgring, is now complete after the warm-up concluded at the Nordschleife. Jules Gounon was in action for Verstappen Racing this morning.
After not taking part in any of yesterday’s Top Qualifying sessions - with Lucas Auer driving in Top Qualifying 1, Max Verstappen in Top Qualifying 2, and Dani Juncadella in the final session - the Frenchman handled warm-up duties today.
Gounon completed a total of two laps and set the ninth-fastest time with an 8:50.3. Fastest on track this morning was Verstappen Racing's sister #80 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo car, with Maxime Martin behind the wheel setting an 8:32.2.
