The Milton Keynes crew specifically worked on the floor assembly (excluding the plank and skids), which had been damaged after yesterday’s off-track excursion in Sprint Qualifying, as well as the cantilever assembly, keel panel, and the right-hand rear brake-duct bracket.

The Dutchman damaged the Venturi channel inlets when going off track, losing significant downforce and limiting himself to sixth on the grid — even finishing behind his teammate, who secured the best qualifying of his season.

The Dutchman, however, won’t face any penalties and will line up sixth on the grid as originally expected.

McLaren, meanwhile, has replaced the LHS rear brake duct scoop on Oscar Piastri’s car, who will start from pole, along with the LHS front brake duct winglet, ICE sump rubber, and LHS front brake caliper.

Work has also been carried out on Lando Norris’ car, with the McLaren crew that made on the floor assembly (excluding plank and skids), the brake master cylinder, and making the related parameter adjustments associated with the brake master cylinder replacement.
