Isack Hadjar suffered a massive crash in the early stages of the United States Grand Prix qualifying. The
Racing Bulls driver, who was out early to set a lap, spun at Turn Six and hit the barriers. The crash by the rookie prompted the first red flag of the qualifying session at the Circuit of the Americas.
Hadjar’s incident comes on the back of a similar experience he suffered during the Sprint qualifying at the United States race. However, on that occasion, the 21-year-old was able to bail out of his lap just before it resulted in a crash.

The Q1 elimination also marked the first time since the Italian Grand Prix in Monza that the Zandvoort podium finisher failed to advance past the first round of qualifying.
