Isack Hadjar brought out the red flags during FP1 for the Monaco Grand Prix after crashing heavily into the barriers with just under half of the session remaining.
The Red Bull driver lost control on the exit of the Swimming Pool section and crashed heavily into the barriers, forcing race control to red-flag the session while marshals recovered the car and carried out repairs to the damaged wall.
The stoppage lasted several minutes as marshals worked to recover Hadjar's damaged car and repair the barriers. Running has now resumed with around 15 minutes remaining in the session, with Antonelli currently leading the way on the timesheets. At the time of his crash, Hadjar was sitting eighth, just two places behind his teammate.

Tensions flare between Haas teammates in Monaco GP FP1: 'What an idiot!'

Another notable flashpoint during the session involved the two Haas drivers. Ocon and Bearman became involved in a brief on-track misunderstanding after the Frenchman was caught behind his teammate through the high-speed Swimming Pool section.
The incident sparked frustration on both sides, with the pair exchanging comments over team radio as each driver took a different view of what had happened. While the situation quickly cooled down, it nevertheless provided one of the more tense moments of an otherwise busy FP1 session in Monaco.
