Franz Tost: 'AlphaTauri will not be sold'

Alphatauri team boss Franz Tost has put all rumours to rest: The Italian racing team will not be sold, the team announced through a press release.

Franz Tost has had talks with Red Bull's co-CEO Oliver Mintzlaff. "I had some very good meetings with [him], he confirmed that the shareholders will not sell Scuderia AlphaTauri, and that Red Bull will continue supporting the team in the future."

Lately, rumour had it in the paddock that Red Bull might sell Alpha Tauri, as they didn't benefit enough from them. "All these rumours have no foundation, and the team has to remain focused for the start of the season to perform better than last year," the team principle said.
