Alex Albon has signed a new contract with Williams, keeping him with the team in 2027. Williams announced the news ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix and amid a difficult start to the season.
In a statement, the
Thai-British driver said:
“Since joining Atlassian Williams F1 Team in 2022, the transformation this team has made is difficult to put into words.“One tough year doesn’t tell the full picture, and it only gives me more motivation to keep building and pushing together with the factory and our fans to achieve great things.
“Our story is not over yet, so my full focus now is on doing whatever it takes to get us back up the grid.”

In a social media message to Williams' fans, Albon said: "I am continuing my journey with Williams, I just wanted to say a big thank you for all the support.
"I know we've had our highs and lows, unfortunately more lows recently, but you are with us all the time and we always feel very grateful to have all that support.
"Here's to many more races together, keeping pushing us forward and you'll see me in blue for many more races to come."
