Wolff ends 2021 on a positive note: 'That way you also feel alive'

Toto Wolff is ending the season with an end-of-season message for Mercedes fans. The Austrian has often been angry in recent weeks but wants to go into 2022 with his head held high.

For Wolff, December was not the best month of his life. Although he and Mercedes won a historic eighth consecutive title in Abu Dhabi, he saw Lewis Hamilton lose his title on the last lap of the race. A lawsuit was never brought, although Mercedes still feels that the rules were not followed properly.

However, the Mercedes team boss now wants to put that behind him. In a year-end message to the fans, he says on Twitter that he is looking forward to 2022. He talks about highs and lows, but also stresses that these setbacks make you feel alive.
