Verstappen leaves teammates baffled after impressive overtaking race

Max Verstappen amazed friend and foe during a Team Redline Twitch stream. In it, the Red Bull Racing driver impressed with an impressive overtaking race on the Monza circuit.

Besides his activities for Red Bull in Formula 1, Verstappen also likes to spend his time sim racing. On behalf of Team Redline, Verstappen drives several races, but also sometimes drives for fun. During one of the last streams, Verstappen impressed at Monza on Wednesday.

In a sports car, Verstappen had to start from 17th place in a crowded field of competitors. After just half a lap, Verstappen informed his teammates to take a look behind him. His teammates did not believe it could be like that, but Verstappen indeed had a mega start. He climbed from P17 to P2 on lap one.

In the closing stages of the race, luck smiled on Verstappen, who was driving under the name of Jos Verstappen. In a leading group of five, they entered the last corner of the final lap. Verstappen deliberately went off his gas a bit and saw the first four go wide in duels with each other. Verstappen took advantage on the inside and drove to the finish line.
