Hulkenberg teases Ocon: 'You must really like my rear end'

Nico Hulkenberg and Esteban Ocon completed a fairly anonymous Mexican Grand Prix, yet the pair got the cameras on them on the 54th lap of the race. On his fresh set of tyres, Ocon had approached the German to within a few metres and over the team radio, the Frenchman told them, "You can say to Haas that I am going for it. So they better be ready for it."

That proved to be grossly disappointing. It took until the 67th lap of the race before Ocon actually managed to outsmart Hulkenberg. After the Grand Prix, Hulkenberg apparently heard the words over the radio too, as he has since posted a teasing post on Instagram. Under a picture of the smiling Ocon, the Haas routinier stated, "You must really love my rear end immensely.... What took you so long?"

As mentioned, Ocon did eventually pass Hulkenberg.
