After Lando Norris' perfect Sao Paulo Grand Prix and Verstappen's stunning comeback, the Formula 1 grid now travels to Las Vegas.
In the 2026 season, the Dutchman could drive the Red Bull car with a number he has never used before. Should he not defend his title, he can no longer use '1', but there is a possibility he could use the number '3' instead of his previous '33'.
He told De Telegraaf: "I do indeed need to get approval, so it’s a good question which number I’ll be using next year."

Both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc were asked about his words today in the United States.
