In Grill the Grid, the
Formula 1 knowledge of all active F1 drivers is put to the test. It is already time for the finale, which made it a considerably shorter 'season' than last year's.
In the final, drivers must name a circuit for each letter of the alphabet. Ironically,
Max Verstappen drops out at the letter 'R', forgetting the obvious Red Bull Ring. The Dutchman is clearly not having his day, but does not finish in a strong position either. Whereas last year he finished second behind
Sebastian Vettel, this year he closes the series on a shared twelfth place with the symbolic number of points of 33. Vettel also came up short this year. The 2021 winner now finishes on P7.
The winner in the final standings is
Charles Leclerc: the
Ferrari driver concludes the tournament with a narrow lead over
Daniel Ricciardo. Third place goes to Fernando Alonso, who is one point ahead of his teammate
Esteban Ocon. The full video can be seen on the
Formula 1 YouTube channel.
