Perez and Schumacher risk penalty after incident in VT1

Sergio Perez and Mick Schumacher will have to report to the FIA stewards after a moment during the first free practice session of the United States Grand Prix. In the worst case scenario one of the drivers will receive a grid penalty for the race.

Perez and Schumacher collided in the closing stages of the session, after Perez attempted to overtake the German on his fast lap. Unfortunately, it seemed that Schumacher had not seen Perez's Red Bull. The Mexican did come from very far away, but he sounded angry over the board radio towards Schumacher.

At 20:15 the drivers had to report to the stewards, so it won't be long before it is known whether one of the two will get a grid penalty for the incident or whether the stewards will turn a blind eye.
