It was a strange day for Formula 1 with the race at Spa-Francorchamps being delayed for hours. In the end, half points were handed out after driving two laps. Not all drivers see the point of the half points, but Max Verstappen and Lando Norris can laugh a bit about the situation in the square afterwards.
"Great race, mate! Unbelievable drive! I was catching you!", Norris joked during Verstappen's interview with Sky Sports. The Dutchman agreed with the Brit: "Yeah, it was really tough.
Lando Norris set the tenth fastest time in qualifying on Saturday, but a gearbox change earned the McLaren driver a five-place grid penalty. This meant that the number three in the world championship lost half a point.
