Romain Grosjean gets a unique chance to end his Formula 1 career in style by driving a Mercedes. After the Bahrain Grand Prix his long career seemed to end with a crash, but Toto Wolff kept his promise.

After nine active Formula One seasons in a row (following an earlier debut in 2009 for Renault), Romain Grosjean's F1 career would come to an end at the end of 2020. Despite ten podium finishes for Lotus, he was no longer given the chance at Haas to take the team to the next level, nor would he get a chance at another team.

The Frenchman seemed to be on his last few races, until he crashed out at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Miraculously he got out of the crash alive, but because of the burns on his hands he would not be able to race for Haas again. So it's no surprise that Grosjean is beaming in Mercedes' new video, in which he talks about his unique opportunity to test for the world champions.
