No start woes for Norris in Singapore: Lando beats Verstappen off the line

Lando Norris has a history of bad starts from pole position. The British driver has never led the opening lap after starting from pole position in Formula 1, until the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix. The McLaren driver got off the line well and beat Max Verstappen to the first corner. Lewis Hamilton tried to get a good start with his soft tyres, but couldn't overtake Verstappen.
