The Belgian Grand Prix is known for being relatively easy to overtake drivers, causing several teams to opt for an engine change and thus incur a grid penalty. Mick Schumacher too seems to have decided to do this with Haas, according to Auto, Motor und Sport.
Schumacher is expected to race at Spa-Francorchamps with an upgrade package. The team is also thinking of installing an all-new engine in the car. It would mean a grid penalty for Schumacher.
The American formation is certainly not the only team to take this decision, as it seems that Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc will both start from the back of the grid as well. While the Monegasque will also receive an upgraded hybrid system, Verstappen should expect a new gearbox.

Vettel supports fighting Schumacher

Schumacher could count on the support of Sebastian Vettel this week. The experienced driver will leave Formula 1 at the end of the season and hopes that his fans will support the Haas driver from 2023 onwards. In the first half of the season, Schumacher scored points in two GPs.
