'Horner hurt by wife Geri's list of demands for Australia GP'

Geri Halliwell has made clear demands to her husband, Christian Horner, in a bid to keep the marriage alive. The Daily Mail reports that the team principal is disappointed by his wife's lack of trust but has agreed to the demands.

Geri Halliwell Horner, Christian's wife and former Spice Girl, is reportedly not flying to Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix. Ginger Spice did appear by Christian's side in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, mainly as a statement to the outside world. Indeed, there seems to be more at play behind the scenes.

According to The Sun, Horner is in Melbourne without his wife but has been imposed several rules. For instance, Christian would have to avoid contact with the woman, and Geri has insight into all messages Horner sends. Geri would prefer the woman to disappear altogether, but Red Bull Racing cannot simply sack her. She has, however, been suspended by the team.

GBN reports that Red Bull Racing's team principal is hurt by his wife's list of rules. He feels that she no longer trusts him. However, she claims to love him but needs to protect herself, given all the attention on the couple. Christian has accepted that and wants to do everything possible to stay together.

Christian Horner married Geri Halliwell on 15 May 2015. Halliwell had met the Red Bull Racing team boss in 2014 and the couple announced their engagement on 11 November 2014. Geri Halliwell took her husband's name but also retained her own. The former Spice Girl is now called Geri Horner-Halliwell.
