Esteban Ocon ignites rumours after Instagram edit!

Mercedes reserve driver Esteban Ocon has changed his Instagram bio from 'Mercedes Test Driver' to 'Formula 1 Driver' as rumours regarding his future swirl and grip the F1 world.

Could this be the telling sign that he's set to replace Bottas as Mercedes' number two?

It's yet to be decided whether he will replace current driver Valtteri Bottas, a decision which is set to be made by boss Toto Wolff.

Bottas and Lewis Hamilton have been strong so far this season, which has meant that Ocon has been forced to wait for an opportunity, but with this change on social media, it's certainly got people talking.

There have been signs of interest from some different teams in the Frenchman so should he not secure a seat at ahead of Bottas then he would have other options. He has been linked with a move to Renault which would see Ocon at a French team. He has also been linked to Haas but rumours surrounding that option have cooled.
