Alexander Wurz thinks that a switch from Renault to Honda as engine partners would be too soon for Red Bull Racing, as the former F1-driver thinks that more data is needed from Honda's part to see whether it would be a fruitful partnership.
Honda are currently partnered up with Red Bull's development team Toro Rosso, which means that the Bulls will be able to keep a very close eye to proceedings.
"My gut says that the jump to Honda would be too fast and that they need more data to see whether this partnership would be any good," Wurz told German website Sport.de.
"You can only see that stability at the end of the season."
Toro Rosso technical director James Key is very happy with their partnership with Honda, but Wurz has doubts whether this would translate to Red Bull.

"Red Bull is seeing this through Toro Rosso, but I think that they'll do well if they stay at Renault.
"Integrating the engine into the car is very complex but also very important.
"To steer clear of mistakes, I'd stick with Renault."
Would Red Bull take a risk that big? To give up what they have at Renault and take a punt at Honda? We made a poll below, vote on what you think Red Bull should do!
