Williams confident they're past lowest point

It's been Williams' worst start to an F1 season since 2013, but Sergey Sirotkin is staying positive about proceedings and says his team are ready to bounce back.

As we approach the second half of the 2018 Formula One season, Williams sit rock bottom of the constructors' standings and face a very realistic prospect of finishing the season in last place.

Williams are one of the more prestigious teams in Formula One, winning more titles than anyone bar Ferrari - but it really has been a big fall from the top for the English team.

Their struggles have meant double elimination from Q1 in six out of the twelve rounds so far this season.

Sergey Sirotkin is enduring his first season in the sport and it's safe to say it hasn't gone to plan for the Russian driver - who is the only driver yet to score a point in this season's standings.

However, the rookie is trying to stay upbeat and says that he's relying on something "'extraordinary" to finally get off the mark.

"It's been a tough year for us, we had to back up the expectations we had in the winter when we found where we are in reality on the track in Australia and even worse in Bahrain," Sirotkin told Crash.net.
