The Formula 1 kicks off the European part of their 2025 season in Imola. After the 2023 event was cancelled due to the flooding, this weekend, the teams do not have to be worried about the weather.

Possible rain on Sunday 

The Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix starts at 15:00 local time (14:00 GMT) this Sunday. The temperature is expected to be around 23 degrees Celsius, similar to Qualifying the day before.
The weather forecast is showing a 'significant chance of one isolated shower up to level 2 or 3' during the race session.
There is also a 20-40% chance of rain, as it is predicted to be more cloudy once again in Italy, with the wind picking up to around 35 MPH while the track temperature will see highs of 41 degrees and lows of 37 degrees.

Race weekend weather

The race weekend got underway at 13:30 local time (12:30 GMT) for the F1 drivers with FP1 and FP2, dominated by the McLarens as Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris took back-to-back one-two's in the two practice sessions.
After some strong winds but sunny skies hit Imola on Friday, there are similar conditions predicted for the rest of the weekend as the papaya-coloured team hope to stretch their championship lead.

The day begins with FP3 at 12:30 local time (11:30 GMT), and in sunny conditions and 21 degrees Celsius, drivers can complete their final 60 minutes of free practice time., with the temperature rising up to 22 degrees when the chequered flag falls.
Track temperatures will have lows of 39 degrees and highs of 43 degrees, while there will be no chance of rain hitting the circuit.
Qualifying continues at 16:00 local time, when it will be a degrees warmer at 23 degrees. However, it will be a bit cloudier, and there is also a less than 20% chance of rain that may hit.
