It has been rumoured for a while now, but now the word is out: the Formula 1 circus will race at the Losail International Circuit of Qatar. And not just for one season. No, to add lustre to the addition of the circuit, the circuit signed a contract for no less than ten years from 2023!

What does the track look like?

Racing in the Middle East is hot. We already had races in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and this year Saudi Arabia makes a debut appearance, but now Qatar has been added to the racing calendar. And so Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton will be battling it out for the title at the Losail International Circuit.
The circuit is for many unknown. Formula 1 has never raced there, so many people will ask: what kind of circuit is it? Well, as you can see on the onboard video below, it will certainly not be a boring race.
