Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel has ruled out participating in Formula E after his career in Formula 1 for now, as the four-time champion feels his work in F1 is not yet done.
The German has a contract at Ferrari until 2020, when it expires right before the new regulations kick in. The regulation changes often mean a new team rises as a championship contender, with Mercedes currently dominating the turbo hybrid era that started in 2014 and Red Bull Racing the era before that.
Many Formula 1 drivers have made the switch to FE, but Vettel doesn't think he'll be one of them, for now.
"I have a contract with Ferrari until the end of 2020," he told Auto Bild.
"In any case, I'm still driving for a long time. I am currently excluding Formula E or touring cars."

When asked how long he'll be driving for, the 31-year-old answered with his typical dry humour: "I will always drive something, as long as no one takes the driver's license."
