Red Bull have been called to appear before the stewards after the United States Grand Prix. The reason? “Failure to follow the instructions of relevant officials,” reads the FIA document released just a few minutes ago.
The Austrian team has been summoned to report to the stewards at 4:30 p.m. local time (11:30 p.m. in the UK) to clarify what happened and present their side of the story.
The investigation comes at the end of a race dominated by Red Bull, as
Max Verstappen claimed a crucial victory in his pursuit of the Drivers’ Championship against the two McLarens.

Verstappen untouchable at COTA as title fight reignites
It was a race never in doubt for Verstappen, who stamped his authority on the United States Grand Prix from lights to flag. The Dutchman secured 25 crucial points and fully capitalised on Oscar Piastri’s quiet weekend, with the Australian finishing only fifth after already losing ground in Saturday’s Sprint.
Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc rounded out the podium after an intense wheel-to-wheel battle that raged for most of the race, with the McLaren driver eventually prevailing thanks to fresher tyres in the closing stages. Lewis Hamilton crossed the line fourth after a solid and consistent drive.
Updated drivers' championship standings
With his victory at COTA, the four-time world champion not only gained valuable points on Lando Norris, who finished second, but — more importantly — closed the gap to the championship leader, now just 40 points ahead.
