Max Verstappen's Nurburgring instructor, Andreas Gulden, hopes to see him race again at the Nordschleife
"It's good for us, good for the Nurburgring, and above all, it's good for all Nordschleife fans to spread the spirit around the world."
- Andreas Gulden
A change has been made to the NLS schedule, which would help Verstappen in achieving his great goal of competing at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring race. The second race of the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie was moved forward by a weekend, which means it no longer clashes with the Japanese Grand Prix.
When competing in the series in 2025, said he would like to return to the German track before taking on the major event, the 24 Hours of Nurburgring.
Gulden, who was the Red Bull Racing driver's instructor when he was obtaining his DMSB Permit Nordschleife, would be happy to see the four-time Formula 1 world champion in action again.

"I'm actually at the Ring 24-7, so to speak," he said to Mennem. "I'm celebrating it, so if you do everything you can to bring Verstappen to the Ring, I think that's the best thing for the series and the best thing that could happen to the 24 Hours.
"It's good for us, good for the Nurburgring, and above all, it's good for all Nordschleife fans to spread the spirit around the world."
Gulden acknowledged what Verstappen’s appearance could mean for the race and the circuit as well.
"There's really nothing better, and of course, for everyone else who now has to reschedule their hotel reservations, I'm incredibly sorry, of course, but that's how it is now, and I think if you really think about it, I think everyone can understand," he concluded.
