Verstappen used the wrong engine torque mode during Monaco GP!

Max Verstappen nearly won the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, and despite his five second penalty, he probably would have if he had passed Lewis Hamilton and created a gap to the Mercedes man.
However, it was not to be, but it has been discovered that the Dutchman was running the wrong engine mode for most of the race.
Verstappen was told during the pit stop that he should change from torque mode 6 to torque mode 12 during the pit stop, as this cannot be done whilst on track.
As Verstappen exited the pitlane, having been unsafely released into the path of Valtteri Bottas, Max exclaimed over the radio: "S***, I didn't do the torque."
Could this have been the difference between passing Hamilton and not? We'll never really know, but it was definitely a mistake from Verstappen and it may have cost him his first win of the season.
