Max Verstappen regrets not having had many chances to race against Fernando Alonso who has now retired from Formula 1.
Verstappen has been racing with the best. He regularly competes against multiple world championship winners Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel. However, the young Dutch driver regrets not having the opportunity to race against one of the best of his generation, Alonso.
"Its a bit of a shame that I never really raced against him." (www.autosport.com)
"Of course he was in F1 while I was there but I never really ahd a fight with him because he's always been at the back beause of the issues they had."
"That's one thing I regret. I've been racing aginst Seb and Lewis already and that's been nice but never with Fernando. Back in the day when I was watching TV he was always the one really fighting them as well."
