Max Verstappen's run at the Nordschleife was the talk of the paddock at Imola, and now the Dutchman has made sure his pseudonym is not soon forgotten.
Due to the notoriety intrinsic to the status of Verstappen as F1 4-time world champion, the Dutchman was asked by the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Series (NLS) to conduct the test he and GT3 team Emil Frey Racing had scheduled under a pseudonym. Verstappen then decided to make it as German as possible as hence, Franz Hermann was born.
Yesterday, former F1 driver and Verstappen's former teammate at Red Bull Racing from 2016 to 2018, Daniel Ricciardo, 'gave' Franz Hermann a long lost brother, Frank Hermann.
Now Verstappen has updated his username on team redline's later twitch to @FranzHermann69, giving his alter ego a more long-term presence.
