Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton failed to threaten the top of the order in qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix, albeit for very different reasons. Nevertheless the Dutchman expects the 7-time world champion to come through the field tomorrow.
Speaking to the likes of GPblog after the qualifying session in Hungary, which was marred by the lack of grip issues that struck the RB21 at the Hungaroring Verstappen didn't look kindly on his chances during Sunday's race
"I mean there may be a few cars in front of me that I can maybe battle with a little bit," he said.

His 2021 title rival, Hamilton, tallied yet another dissappointing qualifying session to his name, which led the Briton to brand himself as 'useless'.
Nevertheless Verstappen expects Hamilton to be on the charge during the Hungarian Grand Prix.
"Of course also Lewis is still a bit further down the road which I think he shouldn't be there right?. So he will come through a bit."
Regarding his own chances, Verstappen simply stated: "We'll see what we can do tomorrow."
