Max Verstappen was chosen as the 'Driver of the Day' at the Australian Grand Prix. The Dutchman had a hilarious response when hearing this news.
Through no fault of his own, the Dutchman had to start from P20 on the grid after a crash in Q1. The Red Bull driver worked his way up to eventually finish in sixth place, behind the two Mercedes, the two Ferraris and Lando Norris.
The vote at the end of the race declared the four-time world champion as the 'Driver of the Day'.
During his media sessions after the race, when speaking to ESPN, he was told about that result.
"Yes!" the Dutchman shouted cynically while pumping his fist in the air and laughing.

"The 24h Nürburgring is a race that’s been on my bucket list for a long time, so I’m really thrilled we can make it happen now," Verstappen said.
